Research shows that it may have been displayed at the Japan's 9th Treiten Exhibition aka "Japan’s historical 9th Teiten (Imperial Fine Arts Exhibition) took place in the autumn of 1928." In fact, the knotted - rope at the top which may have been used for hanging shows age.
